Dairymaster FeedRite in parlour feeders are a very precise and convenient way to feed cows in the parlour. In parlour feeding offers tremendous advantages to the dairy farmer as it has been proven to increase cow flow, decrease milking time and cater for the individual nutrition requirements of cow.
One of the most interesting features of the Dairymaster automated feed system is that appetiser feeding may be utilised.
The Dairymaster FeedRite in parlour feeders consist of a corrosion resistant hopper and the dispenser housing which is manufactured from stainless steel. The dispensing mechanism accurately measures the amout of feed dispensed. Each motor has its own in-built overload protection which activates if a foreign material obstructs its operation. Feed shoots are double bracketed and are also manufactured from stainless steel which incorporates a unique anti-vibration design. The hoppers may be filled from a completely enclosed auger system and feed bin. Due to its completely enclosed design this minimises dust and prevents rodents from entering easilsy.
The feeder control unit is digital and controls up to 40 feed dispensing points. The operator may select feeds on an individual or batch basis and the system also incorporates the Dairymaster colour coded feed system which is a very fast and visual way of individually feeding concentrates.
